909 Coffee & Wine to host the ever so talented Ryan Burns for the November 6 Music & Art Walk

909 Coffee & Wine in Olde Burien will be hosting our very own Ryan Burns for the November 6 Music & Art Walk. Ryan is one of the founding members of the B-Town Beat but also a very talented and accomplished musician. 909 might be the perfect place to start or end your Beat on November 6, if not for the awesome food and drinks served there, then for the performance for Ryan Burns.

"Ryan Burns studied piano at Berklee School of Music in Boston, and has been teaching and playing music professionally for over 20 years. Burns spent time on faculty at University of Puget Sound and Pacific Lutheran University. He currently owns and operates Burien School of Music, teaching piano, bass, and guitar. He has performed with Matt Cameron (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam), Duff McKagan (Guns and Roses), Peter DiStefano (Porno For Pyros), Bobby Previte, Wayne Horvitz, Skerik, Matt Jorgensen, Thomas Marriott, and others. Burns has played piano with the Tacoma Symphony, wrote music for the Food Network TV show “Food Nation with Bobby Flay,” and recorded on dozens of CD’s, including six as a leader. Jazz Times Magazine writes “Keyboardist Ryan Burns has a lyrical, controlled style on organ, Moog and Fender Rhodes, the latter played with a gorgeous chimelike tone.”"
